I'm the maker and sewist behind Studio Mont-Royal. What began as a love for sewing, quilting and thrifting turned into a passion for giving old fabrics new life. I started sewing with leftover textiles, experimenting with bold colours and geometric shapes, and fell in love with the process of upcycling.

Starting at the beginning of 2025, I decided that I would not buy any new fabric and work exclusively with upcycled textiles (thrifted fabrics, scraps and remnants). This allows me to be more creative with the colours that I use to make fun and original designs. It also connects with my values of using up fabric that already exists to reduce textile waste.

My mission is to redefine what modern quilting and textile design look like in Canada. Handmade quilts, quilted bags, scrunchies and more with sustainable fabrics, bold original designs and vibrant colours.
